2021

I came across the top of an electronic bowling pinball machine at an auction and given that no one else was interested in it, I decided to buy it. Not sure what I was going to do with it, I added it to the rest of the “somedayusables” that I kept in my studio for many years, all waiting to be reborn. I finally decided to open the box up and was surprised and excited to find miles of electronics and other interesting parts. I removed half of the guts and began to stretch them out and rearrange them. What started as an inorganic mass of machinery evolved into a flowing organic creation. With a few drops of gold paint, it came alive.

This was the front of the machine.
